Spoiled Rotten is the first boss of Wario Land 4, appearing after the first level Hall of Hieroglyphs in the Entry Passage. It resembles a large round eggplant creature and has toddler-like facial features with a sleepy expression, wears sneakers and carries a doll. Spoiled Rotten is the only boss in the game that does not appear to be a ghost. The arena appears to be a kitchen, with an oven and shelves of food. There is also a television with a Nintendo GameCube on the left side of the field.
Spoiled Rotten is accompanied by two Petit-size no Pinkīs, and can be attacked using Wario's Dash Attack. After seven hits, Spoiled Rotten changes appearance and turns savage, with large, veinous eyes and a wide mouth filled with fangs. In this state, Wario must attack from behind, otherwise the player will receive damage.
Defeating Spoiled Rotten unlocks access to any of the four main Passages. Unlike the other bosses, Spoiled Rotten cannot be fought again after being defeated. Additionally, only four out of the eight Item Shop items are available to be purchased against Spoiled Rotten.
The time given to defeat Spoiled Rotten varies on the game mode: In Normal mode, the time limit is 1:00, in Hard mode, it is 0:30, and in S-Hard mode, it is 0:15.

Naming[edit]
The name "Spoiled Rotten" comes from a description for children who are very selfish and demanding due to being undisciplined, tying in with its youthful appearance. Being an eggplant, it also refers to spoiled and rotten fruit.
